So the editors have decided that what the Oak River Star-Gazette needs is an online version of itself. The bigwigs called it, I think, a “web presence”. (They’re always trying to get with the times. But, I always say to them, the old way’s working just as well, and people like having paper to recycle. Makes them feel important and such; like they’re helping save the earth. I digress.)
Stay tuned to this spot as we develop our “web presence”, whatever that means. You’ll find here all the news that’s fit to print (and a whole lot that isn’t), involving all our local dealings.
In the meantime, head on over to Mary’s Cafe if you have some news to report. I’m there every morning with my coffee and bagel, and I always have my reporter’s notebook at the ready if you’ve got the scoop on anything in the township.
Have y’all a great week!
